Industrial and Commercial Bank of China was established on 1 January 1984. On the 28th October 2005, the Bank was wholly restructured to a joint-stock limited company. Poland Branch gained operation permit from KNF (Polish Financial Supervision Authority) on the 20th March 2012. Being the first approved branch of a Chinese bank, it is also the first branch of ICBC launched in Poland.
