Industrial and Commercial Bank of China was established on 1 January 1984. On the 28th October 2005, the Bank was wholly restructured to a joint-stock limited company. On the 27th October 2006, the Bank was successfully listed on both the Shanghai Stock Exchange and The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited.

The Bank is committed to building a world-class modern financial enterprise with Chinese characteristics, possessing a strong customer base, a diversified business structure, robust innovation capabilities, and market competitiveness. According to the latest statistics data, the Bank provides comprehensive financial products and services to 12.84 million corporate banking customers and 749 million personal banking customers by virtue of the distribution network consisting of 15,865 Chinese institutions and 410 overseas institutions, as well as through its E-banking network comprising a range of internet and telephone banking services and self-service banking centers, forming an internationalized trans-market operating structure focusing on commercial banking business and maintaining a leading position in the Chinese market in commercial banking areas.

As a subordinate operating branch of ICBC Europe, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Europe) S.A. Poland Branch gained operation permit from KNF (Polish Financial Supervision Authority) on the 20th March 2012. Being the first approved branch of a Chinese bank, it is also the first branch of ICBC launched in Poland. Based on the leading market position of ICBC, we offer an extensive range of financial products and services including corporate credit, deposit settlement, foreign exchange transactions and cross-boarder RMB services etc.
